  • Eddy Current Inspection - Eddy Current is also referred to as Foucault current. It is basically an electrical observable fact that was first noticed by French physicist Francois Arago in 1824. An Eddy Current occurs when a conductor is exposed to a changing magnetic field. More....
  • Visual Testing or Visual Analysis:- Visual testing or visual examination or visual analysis is a part of non-destructive testing technique that is used to assess the size and facade of the weld. This NDT testing technique helps to identify surface level flaws and defects which include detection of cracks, fusion between weld bead, gas hole, excessive undercut, etc. This NDT testing technique is used in combination with most of high-end non-destructive testing methods, such as Digital Imaging, Liquid Penetrant Inspection, Radiography, etc. It is one of the most common and economical testing examination used for performing quality control checks.
  • Ultrasonic Testing: - Ultrasonic Testing is a Nondestructive Testing (NDT) method but it is used in various application areas, such as aerospace, automotive and transportation sectors. It is used for the inspection of metals, components, assemblies and composite structures. The process of Ultrasonic Testing involves introducing ultrasonic pulse-waves into the testing object to identify internal defects or to distinguish materials.
  • Digital Imaging Inspection Services: - Digital Imaging has added a new dimension to inspection techniques by enhancing the precision of results and providing accurate output. In case of Digital Imaging the x-ray is taken on a platter which is scanned and converted into a digital file. You can share the inspection results with number of people by sending the digital file through email, CD, DVD and/or flash memory. Digital Imaging not only increases the accuracy of the results but also speed up the inspection process to a great extent.
  • Vacuum Box Testing: - Vacuum Box Testing is a test method that is used to detect leaks. It is a practical way of testing in comparison to the quantitative measures used to examine objects. Vacuum Box Testing can be used to test objects on which a pressure differential can be created across the area to be examined. The common application areas of Vacuum Box Testing include piping systems, pressure vessels, and storage tanks.
  • Non-Destructive Testing is a Proven Technique Used to Discover Equipment Flaws: - ABC Testing Inc. is a leader in providing new non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques in the area of structural testing. Our processes are proven to discover flaws or weaknesses your equipment may have. Many of our non-destructive testing services are completed in state-of-the-art NDT laboratories. Below are some of the NDT services we offer.
  • Use of Industrial Radiography for Inspection of materials :- Radiography is a procedure that helps to see objects that cannot be seen with naked eye. The use of electromagnetic radiation helps to view these objects without any hindrance. The concept of Radiography came into existence in 1895 when X-rays were discovered
  • Ground Penetrating Radar: - Ground-penetrating radar (GPR) is a very popular non-destructive testing method that is used in industries dealing in geophysics. Although, there are many non destructive and destructive testing methods in this branch geology which includes study of physics of the earth and its atmosphere, including oceanography, seismology, volcanology, and geomagnetism.
  • Liquid Penetrant Inspection - Liquid penetrant inspection (LPI) also referred to as Dye penetrant inspection (DPI) is a very economical way of testing non-porous material, such as metals, plastics, ceramics, etc. against surface-breaking defects. Liquid penetrant inspection helps to detect casting and building defects, cracks, and leaks in new products before they are sent for distribution. It also helps to check the weariness cracks on in-service components.
  • Nondestructive Testing: - Nondestructive testing (NDT) includes an extensive range of analysis techniques that are used to assess the physical attributes of a component or a system. Some of the most popular Nondestructive testing (NDT) methods include ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, eddy current, visual, leak testing, mechanical, welder/welding procedure qualification, Positive Material Identification, Hydrostatic, Ground Penetrating Radar, and Digital Imaging.
